Medinilla Myriantha. Malaysian Orchid. Not one of my success stories as yet, ever hopeful. "Easy to grow plant that will reward with flowers throughout the year" so says the label. Previous expensive purchases have keeled over dead within 6 months. Weakened when I saw another at 1/3 previous $. Put my new purchase under shade on patio and seems to be thriving. Enjoying morning winter sun. Increase shade spring/summer. Keap moist. Hopefully gardener optimism and perseverance pays off this time.
