Cat's Whiskers. One of my favourite flowers in the garden. Always blooming; strikes easily from cuttings, seems to be disease and bug resistent and tolerates all subtropical weather extremes. #oznative #oznative-flower

@stuartshaw2020 purchased as a plant in a pot. Gave it a trim and planted the cuttings which grew easily. Sending seeds from Australia have to pass licensing regulations, so, as much as I would like to, I am unable to send some to you. Sending or bringing seeds into Aus is even more regulated and can carry extreme penalties. 🐨

Orthosiphon aristatus albus. White Cats Whiskers. Another plant to remove from my wishlist. Now to get the other colours, mauve/pink and deep purple. Tropical plant - not drought tolerant so needs a moist, protected warm area with morning sun only. Leaves can be used as tea. Aus native. Excited to finally have this plant with its beautiful blue tipped whiskers. Attracts birds and bees. #oznative #oznative-flower #herbal #collage

@DeborahBanks you could probably give it more sun in the milder UK sunshine than the plant can take here in the intense heat of Aus sun.
