Pentas. Large balls of blooms growing on a 1.5 metre tall bush. Mine grow to about half this size. Maharani Bagh Orchid Retreat, Ranakpur, India. #india

Pretty. They do look more like ixoras.

@novicegardenlover They are as big as Ixora, but definitely Pentas. I saw many plants in India growing to three times the size I am familiar with. It must be the generous amount of rain mixed with the heat.

@novicegardenlover No, I believe there are 1,300 species of orchids in India, but I did not see any orchids at 'Orchid Retreat' or during my travels through India. I think Singapore is the best place to see orchids. 🐝🐝
