@novicegardenlover They are as big as Ixora, but definitely Pentas. I saw many plants in India growing to three times the size I am familiar with. It must be the generous amount of rain mixed with the heat.

@novicegardenlover No, I believe there are 1,300 species of orchids in India, but I did not see any orchids at 'Orchid Retreat' or during my travels through India. I think Singapore is the best place to see orchids. 🐝🐝

Pink Pentas. Growing in gardens on Promenade walk, Cairns. These had been pruned into a hedge, encouraging masses of flowers on exterior surface of bush. Created a dramatic display. #tropical #cairns #pentas #pentas-pink
