Hopefully, Phais Orchid. With a bit of luck this is a Phais Orchid grown from seed of last year's flower. I thought I had lost the plant that was growing in a pot. Swipe left for seedhead pic. I will be absolutely thrilled if this is my Noosa native orchid. https://noosaorchidsociety.org.au/phaius-tankervilleae/

Orchid. Seed heads on my Oz native Phai Orchid. Hope some of these germinate for me. #oznative #osnative-orchid #orchid-phaius #tropical-jungle

Phaius Orchid 'Tankervillea'. Today's purchase from the local Orchid Spectacular. Propped the flower stem, which is like a stalk of sugar cane, up on the door handle to give perspective of height which is 6ft. This orchid is an oz native, local to the Noosa area and grows in damp ground, perfect for a boggy patch in my garden that gets water runoff. #orchid #oznative #oznative-flower #oznative-orchid #orchid-phaius

@ausgardentags Apparently they grew abundantly in the previously swampy area that is now Noosa Waters.
