Frangipani 'Bridal Bouquet'. For you @jyotu - hold the dream. Your 'Bridal Bouquet' will be covered in perfumed blooms before too long. Hope yours flowers continuously like mine. Can you believe this was a rescue plant. After asking the owner who had discarded it, I dragged the heavyweight to have new life in my garden. Soon I will make cuttings to spread the beauty through my garden. #frangiani #frangipani-bridalbouquet

Wow this one is so beautiful. I think he's regretting who discarded it. I'll post my Frangipani's picture tomorrow. But i took it from my grandma's friend and she told me it has no fragrance?

@jyotu they are reputed to be without perfume. There is a faint perfume, but not the heady, strong perfume of tropical Frangipani.

Frangipani 'Bridal Bouquet' frangipani. Really appreciate the show it is putting on, oblivious to the heat and lack of rain. A real survivor. #frangipani #frangipani-bridalbouquet

Frangipani 'Bridal Bouquet'. A spectacle of beauty, continually covered in flowers adding sweet perfume to the garden. Cuttings will be taken in winter to fill every garden space with this drought and wind tolerant, pest resistant, hardy, tropical beauty. #frangiani #frangipani-bridalbouquet

Is this a tree or smaller shrub version?

@Scottik1962 Fast growing tropical evergreen grows to 6 metres. Mine is pruned to 1.8mt. Can be pruned to preferred size. Better flower presentation with multi trunks.

Thank you. It is great to find a plant that takes the worst of coastal heat and wind and thrives without so much as a leaf blemish. The perfumed flowers are beautiful in a vase too. @natii @gjones @suerichards @richard.spicer.7906

@alan1111 it is perfect for the growing conditions here in the subtropics. Perhaps not so perfect trying to grow it in snow and ice.🙂

@jyotu my plant was transplanted and took 18 months to settle in and flower. Your cutting will take time to grow healthy roots before blooming.

Plumeria pudica. Evergreen frangipanni native to Panama, Venezuela and Columbia. Flowers profusely most of the year in the tropics. This was a rescue plant, tested my strength carrying the big, heavy bush home. Seems to have settled in now and after a slow start is putting in a pretty show of flowers. Should have given it a good cut back before planting last year but will do so in winter (if it arrives - late Autumn now and 31° today) Grows easily from cuttings so I will have a nice stock, ...
