Plumeria Rubra 'Darwin Blues'

Work in progress, Frangipani Fragrant Garden. 12 months ago very unhealthy, neglected since moving home, covered in rust and scale. Top 2 pics after dug up, cleaned up and potted. Last pic, today, no rust, clean and healthy and most importantly free from rust. Verification of my theory, "keep frangipani healthy to combat the dreaded, unsightly rust". richard.spicer.7906 Thank you Richard. 'Darwin Blues' was a new release in Aus 3 years ago. I managed to get one of first five imports direct from the importer/grower so its growing habit is a bit of an unknown. Had a bit of a slow start as it moved home with me and took a while to find a good garden position. The colour change and long lasting blooms are an unusual and beautiful characteristic. Has a soft spice fragrance.

I would like a frangipani, think I would have to build it a green house for it to live in 🤔 every time I see your beautiful flowers from it I get that warm feeling inside of happiness!!

Frangipani 'Darwin Blues'. Looking good, after a health treatment, showing some Summer blooms. As yet, a small tree that will gradually fill an area with fragrance; viewed from my lounge room and front patio.Two smaller Frangipani in the same area with buds soon to open.
