I think my passionfruit Calla looks perfect with the gold toned ground orchid. What do you think? #spathoglottis #calla #calla-passionfruit

@pixierose @gauravsh6 this is a part of my garden that I am working on creating an area of tranquility. I can see it from my bedroom window. The orchids grow happily and are shaded by a strappy clump of spider lilly; so now I am trying the callas to see if they settle. I am going with the feel of this garden. 😊

@Annettenoosa I’m in heaven looking at your pictures. The orchids are beautiful. I have been given a vanilla pod orchid. Do you know how to look after them? I’ve never had this type of orchid before. The leaves are so different to the usual orchids. 😊🙏🏼

@pixierose. Thank you. I have seen your post of the vanilla orchid and admire your ability to grow beautiful phalaenopsis. I have not grown the vanilla orchid which in tropical climates grow like a vine 30+ mtr up tree trunks. The flowers last a day and are usually hand pollinated to produce the vanilla bean. You seem to be having success with the growth on your orchid, so keep it warm, well fed and suppport new growth. 86F (30c) is its normal growing temp. ☺

21-2-2018 This beautiful Ground Orchid chose today, with cyclonic, howling winds and lashing rain, to burst its pretty bud. Certainly a ray of sunshine in today's weather. Definitely be early to July Garden Exp to get a few more colours before they sell out. #spathoglottis# #groundorchid#
