Edible fruit of Lily Pilly. Just checking if I have enough berries for some jelly. Mmm, a few, but covered in flowers so jelly will be later, in time to be nicely flavoured to accompany cheese. Enough berries now though to give a spicey taste to salads. Berries from Lilly Pilly. I think the birds might have taken their share. Certainly the bees had a party in the flowers. Probably make some delicious cordial with this batch.This picking is from one tree that had an unseasonal bloom. Christmas is usual time for bigger, fatter, fruit. #gyo #lillypilly #lillypilly-fruit
