Lover of all plants! I really enjoy starting seeds or propagating from items I purchase at the grocery store. Orchids and Hoyas are my favorite plant

I just got one, too! Love them - I had one for a few years but unfortunately it was sacrificed to the gods of plant-sitters. It produced really well though, even growing inside - and the lemons were delicious as well as beautiful. Really happy I was able to find another. Enjoy!

Thats so awesome. How long did you have it before it produced? I think this is going to be my new favorite. @greenroomgarden

Trying to remember...I think I got mine when it was maybe a year older than yours (not much bigger), and it gave me one that year, then three or four the next, and maybe five the next? It was almost always flowering...smelled incredible! My new one is probably as old as yours is, but shaped differently, and I’m thinking there’s a good chance it’ll give me one next year. Are you growing outside? That might make a difference.

One thing, too - it produced *tons* of tiny lemons aside from those that ripened; it kept dropping them, but I think it was indoor growing conditions and me trying to tweak its watering and fertilizer so it was perfect; never quite got there.

I'll be growing inside over winter then outside in the summer. Thanks for all the info, very much appreciated.

Nice, that’s what I do, too. If you’re interested in unique citrus, check out finger limes! Incredibly cool plants/fruit; just got one this spring, and I’m really looking forward to producing. Mine is probably a year or two away: https://www.atlasobscura.com/foods/finger-caviar-lime-australia
