These are super hearty..they don't need much water and do well in hard to grow in type soils..it's also a creeper so it will take over if you don't keep it cut. Its also very viny...These of ours look like a bush but you could start them up a trellis and they look even better I think

Such a Wonderful Memories. I had given my dad a beautiful miniature Japanese Maple and he treasured that tree. But he had to leave it when he moved but if he visits PA he always goes to see that tree.

@julie021 u could find out if there's a way to get a starter off of it and next time he's there you could send it back with him with the instructions to help it root;)

@armywife78 he lives in an Apt complex now. He just turned 80 on Father's day.
