Clematis cirrhosa var. purpurascens 'Freckles'

My other project for the day. This #clematis had logs around the base for shade, which of course was slug heaven. I'm a totally #organic gardener, so I'll try this approach and see if it works 😄

I get so excited every time I add a new plant to the garden 😆 this little fella needs to fill a bit of a gap in our hedge, where a tree stump is in the way of planting more privet. The road in front is lower than our garden, and I'm hoping one day it will cascade down the wall with its delicate little flowers in #winter :) #clematis #climber
