#advice needed. Why are the leaves browning? As you can see, the new shoots are healthy but the older leaves look very unhappy ☹️ is this just the old evergreen leaves being replaced by new growth?
Hmm but wouldn't the young shoots have been affected too? I wondered if that were the cause but the young shoots were starting to grow when we had that spell of cold weather and they seem unscathed 🤔 @brightcolours @pelly @suerichards
@brightcolours some of the new shoots are right at the top with no overhanging branches. @pelly it could be, though I wouldn't think it gets much as it's near the house 🤔 it looks as if each browning leaf has a new shoot emerging right above it....perhaps, like roses, the old foliage under the new shoots dies off? Our other trachelospermum isn't like this, but the new shoots on that aren't coming out above the old leaves but at the end of the vines. 🤔🤔

Frost damage perhaps?
That was my first thought too Gaby @brightcolours
My thoughts too. 👍
Don't prune back the affected foliage till all chance of frosts has passed or you risk further damage.

Does seem odd unless they were protected by overhanging branches?
I don't know then, unless....is that side of it catching the wind? 😮😮😮

My Jasmine does that, not much help to you though. I'm stumped, I hope you find out what the problem is. 😊😊😊
