Night temperatures are dropping so it's a good time to take cuttings of your coleus so you can get a jump start for next Spring. They'll grow roots over the cooler months and be ready for planting out once the weather warms up again. Thanks @rikkie for sharing. #cuttings #waterpropagation #coleus #windowsill #propagation #propagation-water
@ausgardentags thanks heaps for your timely advice 🥰 this is my first time to grow Coleus and I have no idea about how to look after them during cold months. Should I bring them indoors when the temperature is below 10C or so? I should start researching how to care them in winter very soon!
Iām in subtropical Qld. Drops to around 7C and no frosts. The hardier Coleus survive outside. To be on the safe side I'd move yours at least under cover and out of frost danger. Also take cuttings. @rikkie

Where are you? How cold does it get overnight in winter? (M)any frosts? @rikkie
@ausgardentags I'm in Sydney, NSW. During winter, the temperature can go down below 10 degrees, and occasionally the grass is covered with frost.
