Really hard to capture the colour of this acer - can you even see it? - especially as the teasel next to it is almost twice its size 💗
I can see it Jacqueline, I like the Teasel too 😍😍
Oh that's a favourite of mine beautiful colours right through the year 😊😍
They look great together but in the full photo the acer just disappears.
Mine too Pauline. It’s a few years old but did don’t grow at all for the first three years so I moved it. Not far but it seems happier I think 🤔🤞
I can! It looks like they’re dancing together 😊
Thanks Laura. I wish you could see them in real life though... 🛫✈️🛬 ...so much better! @columbiariver
Ooh, you old romantic you! 💃🏼🕺🏼 @rachelbrooks
☺️☺️☺️
About the 60s? Of course they say if you can remember them you weren’t there. 🎶I was born, born in the 60s 🎶 @columbiariver

So pleased to see that this is much happier in its new home 🏡
Looks really healthy and happy Jacqueline 👍👍👍
Looking good there Jacqueline 👍👍
It's strange as I actually haven't moved it far at all, but it is definitely much happier. I had thought it was a goner @pelly @juliesgarden
Even better then 👍👍👍

This is still not entirely happy but better than it was in its last home, which was a few feet away...
For its first few years this struggled a bit but in today’s sunshine it was looking fabulous ☀️💗 #acer-palmatum-sangokaku #acer-sango-kaku #acer-senkaki #coral-bark-maple
It looks lovely now, acers are some of my favourite trees
I have this one, it's great for a bit of winter colour ❤️
Hi Laura 👋 I do too! 😊 @columbiariver
Thanks Joan, me too. And this one is especially lovely: gorgeous stems, beautiful autumn colour and slow growing 👌 @joannie.a
Yes I thought you had Jane. It’s a lovely one and I’m so happy mine has settled in. I did actually move it a year or so after I got it. I think it was catching the wind or possibly a mole had disturbed its roots. Either way it’s happier now 😊 @pelly
That's good to hear 👍
