28 Jun 2019 • My #astrantia suzyw is in flower. It’s so small I didn’t expect it to flower this year but it looks wonderful 😍😘 @suzyw
Me too and they are on nice tall stems too 💚 And thank you, I had a great time and got back before it got too hot over there thank goodness 😅 @suzyw
I can’t get enough of them and they seem very happy in my garden @gjones
I have several varieties and they are all in part-shade, either sun late or early in the day or dappled shade. None are in full shade though. One is growing in cobbles so they’re not fussy about soil 😉 @gjones
I hope they survive. Such fabulous plants 💚 @gjones

16 Apr 2019 • Look Suzanne! My very first variegated astrantia leaf 💚 😘 @suzyw
Ooo I like that 💛
Oh keep us posted 👏😍
Its only one leaf but it’s alive 🙌🙌 @carolgs
Will do Sue, I’m so happy it made it. Suzanne posted it to me last autumn so I’ve not yet seen it in all its glory 😃 @suerichards
Well one leaf is a good sign! 👍🏼👏🏼
There are some little leaves appearing on both of the tricyrtis too, which I’ve also just planted out. 😍😍 @rachelbrooks
Ooh brill! 👏🏼👏🏼 the one I bought at Larch Cottage is growing well. My Dark Beauty hasn’t appeared yet - getting a bit panicky 😬but I think I remember it being quite late in previous years. I hope I haven’t lost it. I love it! 🤞🏼
Oh I hope so too. I can’t wait to see how they do 🤞🤞@rachelbrooks
Exciting! Also, can you remember if I bought the same white wallflower as you there? 🤔 I thought I had and I can’t find that either 🙈
🤔🤔🤔 Yes I think you did didn’t you... Did you post a photo of it? You might be able to recognise where you put it 🧐🔎 @rachelbrooks
No, I didn’t 🙄 hoping it’ll appear somewhere 😬

31 Oct 18 • My wonderful gift from Suzanne, all safely potted up and labelled too! 😄😄 @suzyw
Great labelling ! Xx
You absolutely can! 😃 @suzyw
Thanks Claudia. I am loving my new labeller and labels 😄😄 Small things and all that 😂 @clipperty
Ooh a variegated one 😄 👌🏼
Yes Rich, I’m very excited 😃 @richard.spicer.7906
It was doing so well 😢 I have no idea what is doing this to some of my plants but I’d like it to take a serious look at itself 😡 So Sorry Suzanne @suzyw
Oh no, such a shame 😢
I’m just hoping it will survive. There are two new shoots that you can just see in this picture 🤞🤞🤞 @pelly
Fingers crossed Jacqueline 🤞🤞🤞
Oh no 😨 I hope it survives this whatever is causing it 💚
Me too Rula! @sabbanrula
My like is for the hope of recovery!
Thank you Susan 😘 @novicegardenlover
We have seen a hare in the garden but whatever is eating this is just nibbling through the stems and leaving the leaves behind 🤔🤔 I had the same problem with a nearby hellebore last year. Aw! Thank you! Hopefully it will recover, as will your anemone 🤞 @suzyw
We’ve had rats too... Rats, voles, mice, moles, rabbits, deer, a hare. It’s a veritable wildlife oasis here 🙄 @suzyw
I saw a mole last year while I was weeding. Gave us both a fright! I occasionally get that sinking feeling 😉😂 @suzyw
