This is a lesson in the desire of plants to live! I planted this Clematis at least 10 years ago if not 15. It disappeared. Completely. Assumed it had died but as it was in a hedge I didn't bother digging it up or replacing it... it has reappeared & there are lots of flower buds 😊😊😊😊😊
Definitely Jacqueline. I have started a diary which records everything I do, plant, move or sow, it helps tremendously. It's actually organising me. 😂😂😂
I'm lucky as mine is a newish garden. When we moved here just under two years ago all that was in the garden was the Forsythia in the back and Daffodils in the front, yours is a large, established garden, so a diary certainly would have been advantageous, but then hindsight is a wonderful thing Jaqueline. 😊😊

Survival of the fittest at its best! 😮
Oh, how wonderful Jacqueline, nature at her best. 💜💜💜
@jacq1075 Definitely! 👏🏻
@pelly It was such a wonderful surprise Jane. Worth thinking I had lost it... well almost 😉😊
@gjones And it's been through the hedge being laid too! 😊
It's back whatever Jacqueline, that's the important thing. 💜💜💜
@Pelly I love seeing alpine Clematis looking like it is growing naturally in a hedge. Hopefully this will now do it - it's earned it's AGM 😂
Well if ever patience was a virtue... how fantastic is that?! 👍🏼👏🏼💜
@rachelbrooks I'm so chuffed 👏🏻😊💜
It's a fab surprise! 💜💜💜
