A quick wander earlier and looks like the crocuses are happy and spreading 💜💜💜 Thought I’d get a quick snap before the storm 💦💨

24 Feb 2019 • I wondered at first if a rogue yellow #crocus had got mixed up with the Barr’s purple but I think this one has had a growth spurt and outgrown its petals 🤔🧐😂

They probably will 👍 I've been meaning to check photos of these crocuses on my laptop from 3/4 years ago to count how many I planted originally but I believe they doubled in number since last spring. It might be worth digging them up every 3 years to spread them about and reinvigorate them. There's a park in Newcastle with area smothered in these crocuses but it didn't show well on the pictures because it was too sunny 😅

The local cemetery is the same. It looks amazing 💜 Digging them up is challenging as they are basically planted in hardcore 😉 @ublaszko
