Sometimes I manage not to buy anything... The container came from my grandparents-in-law and I’ve put a tough plastic bag inside and a load of gravel which the pots sit on. My last lot of cyclamen lasted for several years like this until this year 😢 @sieveheadsarah
I've never bought a cyclamen, I'm thinking I need to get one or two Jacqueline. I have it in my head that those containers were used to cook whole fish in, in the olden days 🤔🤔 I'm probably making it up!? 😂😂
I know what you mean - A fish kettle. But this, I think, was always meant for plants as it doesn’t have any kind of handles 🤔 Cyclamen are a lovely way of getting a bit of colour in the house in winter. They need to be cool though, so an unheated conservatory or even an outside windowsill, is ideal. Our hall, where these are, is quite cold @sieveheadsarah
That's it, a fish kettle, I'm not such a Sievehead after all 😂😂😂 They'll go perfectly on the kitchen windowsill as it's nice and cool there, I know where I'll be going tomorrow 👍🏼😀
9 Oct 2019 • I only went in to post a parcel... ❤️ #cyclamen #cyclamen-persicum
Does your post office sell plants Jacqueline 😂😂
Oh that story again Jacqueline 😂😂😂
How did you guess Jane?! At least, the village shop & post office in Staveley does 😬 @pelly
Haha! He sells such a great selection Sarah. Just on a few tables outside. That’s where I got my Euphorbia ‘Ascot Rainbow’ 😃 @sieveheadsarah
Good job you're not nearer, he'd have nothing left 😂😂 I do like the copper/brass container you've put them in 😀
