10 Nov 2019 • I have often wondered what these incredibly bright berries are that you see in the hedgerows at this time of year, and this week I found out 😃 #black-bryony
These look so much like a red berried vine I just posted! The description is so similar too. The only reason I'm sure mine is a snailseed vine is that the seeds look like little snail shells.
You’re welcome. We do too but I never notice them except when they have berries but didn’t know what it was until a friend told me when we went for a walk last week 😊 @jacaranda
The flowers are an insignificant green, apparently, which probably explains why we don’t notice them in the summer. I must try to be more observant next year 🔍🔎😳😂

Beautiful but utterly nasty!

Do you mean because it’s poisonous Val or is it like bindweed if you get it in your garden? @valjones-hughes
How interesting. I’ll have to find another one and open the fruit to see what is inside! @lesliecole49
Here you go Barbara 😃❤️ @jacaranda
Thanks Jacqueline. We see lots around here at this time of year but I didn’t know they were poisonous until I Googled them 😱

We’ll make it our mission to find the flowers next year 👍🤞
You’re on! @jacaranda
