Is this the same as the other flower on the photo above? This one looks just like my iris reticulata 'Joyce'. Pretty sure that's what it is.

I know, so hard to capture the colour of these small irises and also they keep changing shades. My Joyce starts of dark rich blue, I think this kind of colour is called royal blue. Then it gradually gets lighter but sometimes it looks purple. 😁

19 Feb 2019 • This is the one that started my fascination with these beautiful little plants. I was given a pot for Christmas 2017. I planted those in the garden (never to be seen again?) but was given another pot this Christmas 😊 It is not often you see such a true blue in a flower 💙💛

This is my favourite coloured Iris - on my wishlist for next year 💙

It’s an incredible colour. Also one of the easiest to find. A florist in Kendal had some little pots for sale the other day - I managed to resist 😉😂 @anges

That's good to know! You did very well resisting!! I'm going into town today and it has already crossed my mind to look out for some of these in pots 😶😁 My daughter is at Lancaster Uni - maybe I could ask her to call in at Kendal!! 😂 💙

I wanted to know what they are as I’d love to get some more. These are just in a tiny pot but stand out a mile. @pelly

The ones that are flowering are in the garden next to yellow Crocuses, which will look lovely when they fully open, but I have got some in pots popping up that I'd forgotten about, so that's been a nice surprise. 💙💛

@pelly Jane, I also have them planted with yellow crocuses and they make great partners. Mine are gold yellow crocuses called 'Gypsy girl'. I can't wait for them to fully open.
