Iris 'Katherine's Gold' syn. Iris reticulata 'Katherine's Gold'

These are supposed to be my favourite #iris-reticulata which is #iris-reticulata-spot-on but they are not… Don’t get me wrong, they’re actually rather lovely and add some brightness on a very dark day but I have no idea what they are PlantID 🤔

Could well be Jane @pelly The description on farmergracy, where I got the bulbs from, sounds right and they were very early flowering. They first opened shortly after New Year.

@pelly It’s one of the reasons, aside from their gorgeous colour, that I love ‘Spot On’ because they’re early too. I thought I’d taken a photo of these when they had first opened but I can’t find it…
