They are getting there... which ones are going to be the first to flower? It’s so exciting 🙃 #iris-reticulata
Cant wait to see the flowers!!! Great job!💚🌸🌸🌸
Grazie! They are fabulous little bulbs and very reliable 😊
I love your labels, Jacqueline 😍 and your bulbs are great, too 🤣🤣😘
😂 Thanks Barbara @jacaranda

Trying to compare an imposter with the two other #iris-reticulata that are in flower at the moment. #iris-reticulata-harmony is in the foreground and #iris-reticulata-jsdijt is in the background with the rogue but beautiful one on the right 💜💛
Ooooh that one's velvety!!! 💜💜💜
It is and it’s a gorgeous warm purple but I’m not sure what it is. Any ideas Beck? 🤔 @mrsflowerpot
Urszula thought it might be Pixie or Palm Spring 🧐 @ublaszko @mrsflowerpot
Perhaps Pixie because it's a sport of Harmony but purple rather than blue
I'm wondering if it is either Iris 'Pixie' or simply Iris reticulata. It could be a hybrid of any combination of pairings though. Sometimes bits and bobs slip through the net to intrigue us! 💜💜💜💜💜
Goodness me Palm Springs is a beautiful variety though I will have to keep my eyes out for that one!! 💜💜💜💜
Thank you both. I may just have to get a few of each, in the interests of discovery of course 🧐 @ublaszko @mrsflowerpot
😂😂😂 👍 Of course, just for scientific purposes Jacqueline!!
I have posted pics of Pixie, it is similar
I think M&S had Palm Springs and I regret not getting it when I had the chance 😭 I planted Pixie last autumn and I think some are coming up and showing flowerbuds. But then again it could be any other variety I had planted there before... 😂 Already had a couple of Alida's this year 😁😁
All sounds very technical to me 🤔

And as for this little imposter 🧐 I have no idea what variety it is, which is a shame as it is rather lovely 💙💜 It’s a bit more purple than harmony and a bit more blue then J.S. Dijt... #iris #irisreticulata
A beauty. Wonderful colour!
Beautiful like velvet ☺️💙💙
Thanks Val. I think so too. It popped up in a pot of JS Dijt so I have no idea what it is 🤔 @valjones-hughes
It really is Pauline. So intense too 🥰@pauline33
It could be Pixie or Palm Spring. Have a look down this list and see what you think 😊 https://www.pottertons.co.uk/pott/browse.php?folder=221
Yowser!!
Thanks Urszula though that’s a dangerous website! 😉😂 @ublaszko
😂😍 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
I might have to get some and grow them to find out 👍😂 @ublaszko
I think I found out about that website from you 😂😂 I planted Pixie last autumn but still waiting for the flowers.
You may well have done. I bought several varieties from them a couple of years ago 😍 I love supporting specialist nurseries @ublaszko
A bit of a puzzle…the first of the #iris-reticulata to flower. It’s lovely but it is not #iris-reticulata-spot-on which it is meant to be and which is always the first to open. So what’s going on? I have no idea 🤷♀️
Well it’s beautiful whatever it’s called Jacqueline 💙💙
Thanks Julie 😊It is lovely but it is not purple!! @juliesgarden
👍🏻😘
Maybe a stunning #trueblue #mutant ?
It’s certainly very blue Elaine 💙@emch
I thought at first maybe Harmony
Yes could be. It will be interesting to see what the others in the pot look like🤔 @opiewan
Where did you get the bulbs from Jacqueline, and is this the first time flowering? (ie you bought my last autumn?)
I started again with some me new ones in the autumn having out my old ones in the garden. These came from Farmer Gracy who I’ve previously found to be very good… 🤔@richard.spicer.7906
Spectacular
Thank you 😊 @Sharain
