5 Aug 2018 • I’ve never noticed this before...the flowers don’t lose their colour like this if I leave them on the plant. They just dry up and peas form 🤔💜
Oh I like it though 💜
How odd 🤔 I don't think mine has ever done this. The old flowers always fall off once the seed pods start to form.
Me too Rachel 😊 @rachelbrooks
I haven’t explained myself properly Jeff. The ones on the right are flowers I cut several days ago. They looked like the ones on the left when I cut them... @jeatacake
Mine do exactly the same when they are cut.
They’re beautiful in both though 💕
I’d just never noticed before. Interesting aren’t they? @joannie.a
Thanks Kerry. If they were scented too they’d be perfect 👌😉😬 @kez001uk
They don’t like being cut, do they?
Well they survive longer in a vase than annual sweet peas do, even if they do change colour 🤔😉😂 @JaneyL

Argh! I didn't realise it had been so windy! 💨 💨 💨
Drats... hope all is ok
It was in Leeds too arghhhhh!!!Hope you haven't too much damage 😶
Oh no, hope it can be saved 🙁
Thanks Justin, I think it will be. At least it missed all the pots 👍🏻 @justin
I didn't even realise it was that windy. Wet yes but not windy. It must have been a strange direction. Hope everything is OK in your garden @Keely
Should be OK thanks but too heavy for me to try and pick up on my own, so will have to wait until later... @clare2611
One snapped cosmos right from root but that's all so far 🙄
At least at this time of year it's all beginning to go over so it's not quite so bad 🤔🍂😊 @Keely
🙊 @scaryskates
That was my thinking and I thought great can get my bulbs planted there now 😁
Hope it's ok 👍😊

I think I may need to rethink what to do with this perennial sweet pea next year. Its an east facing wall & I've tried moving it but it stayed put! Any suggestions?
🥳 🎉 🎈 Woohoo! It’s #tendril time. Is there anything more therapeutic (and GOK we all need a bit of therapy at the moment) than winding #tendrils to supports?!
Indeed 😌
You just reminded me to check mine, last time I saw it it was horizontal but now it appears to have attached itself to a sunflower a rose and the Japanese Anemones 😱😂😂
😂 You will have so much unwinding and rewinding to do you’ll be so laid back after all that you’ll be horizontal 🤔 @pelly
If you don't hear from me in the next few hours you'll know where to find me 😴😂😂
Have fun! @pelly
