This was the other bit of pruning I did yesterday (after the sun had moved off the jasmine obvs 🙄). It is getting smaller every year. Might even get it into some kind of shape by next year 🤔🤷♀️ #beforeandafter

@awomanonabike excellent job Jaqueline 👍

All looking nice and tidy Jacqueline 😀

Working hard - surprised they haven’t called you back in to do some surgery! 😂

Thank you JP ☺️ @jpea

Thanks Sarah. Getting there @sieveheadsarah

😂 Just waiting for the call... @sharonhayden

27 Jul 2018 • This is definitely a work in progress. There’s a honeysuckle mixed in here too... 🤔

Rather you than me...😏

Haha! I’ve really enjoyed myself 😊 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

27 Jul 2018 • So what do you think Rachel? Marks out of 10? 😬 @rachelbrooks

Well it would’ve been a 9...but as you stopped to take a pic...it’s a 10 from me hen! 😉 seriously though...it looks brill Jacq! And gives a lot more structure. Love it! 👌🏼💚

😂🤣😂🤣😂 Thank you 😘😘 @rachelbrooks

Spotted these the other day. I’ve never noticed them before..but then there’s so much in the garden I didn’t notice until I joined GardenTags 😄

It’s definitely made me look at the minutiae 👍🏼👌🏼 all the things we’ve missed for so long!

I know Rachel. I’m so grateful 😊@rachelbrooks @ukgardentags

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that does that Jason 😉😂 I have another one that I noticed berries on for the first time last year. However they all need a serious prune/shape so probably won’t see berries this year @Jasonsparkes1

Who new? I've never noticed these berries before. Is this because I haven't looked?! (Not sure if this is LN 'elegant' 🤔 but LN 'thug' isn't in the encyclopaedia 😉)

Lovely 💜 like little jewels Jacqueline

I was stunned when I spotted them Alisa and thought the same thing. I suspect I've just not looked #beforeGT🤔😂 @AlisaJ

😆😆 I love this picture and how you can see the pip through the light 👍🏼

Thank you! 😊😊😊 @AlisaJ

👌📸👌

Oh wow I discovered a berry on our hedging that I’ve not seen before & it looks very similar. Will post.

Isn't it great. Can't believe I've not noticed them before... @Jasonsparkes1

I've just bought 2 Maigrun to shape into balls, not sure I shall want to after seeing that gorgeous berry!

It's not a thug if you prune it regularly Jason. Easy to shape too, so often used where you might use box - you will have seen it around I'm sure. This one has been left to hide a septic tank so I think that may be why I have now got berries, but may well be the first and last time as it needs to be chopped. I have a beautyberry too for the same reason as you. Two berries this year. That's even less than last year! 😱😂 @Jasonsparkes1

The berries are lovely Anne but probably not worth it unless you have a lot of space to fill! 😂@anne8691

Ah perhaps not then, only have a small garden 😂
When I heavily pruned what was a huge shrub concealing the septic tank ( #thejoysofruralliving 😉) a couple of years ago, I thought I wouldn’t see these wonderful berries again, but I was wrong 😊
The berry colour is beautiful 💜
They are gorgeous Kerry. They’re translucent 💜 @kez001uk
@awomanonabike don’t think I’ve seen anything like it before. Flowers are pretty too 😍
They’re not exactly obvious but they worth looking for @kez001uk
