When I'm not on my bike, you'll find me in my organic-ish garden in #Cumbria. Favourite plants? Wisteria, hellebores, peonies, philadelphus...

I hadn’t either until I spotted it at Harrogate Flower Show a few years ago. I love the blue one and it does so well in my garden that I just had to give it a go @joanboston

On a much happier note, the #omphalodes-verna-alba seems to be getting its feet well and truly under the table 💚

I didn’t know there was a white one, the blue you gave me is huge now, I’m going to split it after flowering 🤍💙

Mine have been in for a few years and this is the worst they’ve done...hardly putting on any growth at all 🤔

Where are they at the moment? Mine are at the edge of the bed by the path through to the back garden, so pretty shady 🤔 @rachelbrooks

30 Mar 2019 • This has to be the hardest flower to photograph and I’ve been trying since it first started to flower in February. (Label said it was O. cappadocica but pretty certain it isn’t 🤔)

I have the blue too Joan and love it but this one was new last autumn. Just hope it spreads like the blue one has 💚 @joannie.a

I'm trying to track down 'cherry ingram'. One of the nurseries that exhibited at Harrogate flower show has it, so I'll hopefully get one or two there @awomanonabike

Ooh! I don’t know that one. It looks lovely. Named after the man who ‘saved’ the Japanese cherry trees I presume 🤔 PS Beth Chatto has it in stock... @gardengimp

Yes apparently, and good for him 😊 thanks for the tip off, although Primrose Bank in York also has tons of the kind of plants I like, and they'll be at Harrogate, or I can pick up from York which is also close to me. I've become a nursery snob now, I shun all garden centres and only part with my hard earned at dedicated nurseries, whom I meet at exhibitions. Being a Yorkshireman I like to save on the carriage wherever possible 😄 @awomanonabike
