24 Oct 2019 • I’d completely forgotten which #scented-pelargonium this is but it has been growing happily all summer and is still flowering but it’s now time to pot it up and bring it inside 🏡
I brought my regals in last week and chopped them down as advised in Garden News, apparently they are the first of the pelargoniums that you should do 😊👍
Oh! 🙈🤣 so not what I was expecting you to say! Having said that I bought one the other day and it had a most peculiar scent 🤢 luckily the flowers are pretty!
Apparently they will get tall and leggy and lose their shape. It says to cut all this year's growth but if they haven't been pruned in previous years you can still prune into old growth as they will still regrow. Btw mine had finished flowering 👍👍

Fabulous name! And does it smell of Angel’s Perfume? 🤔💕

Sadly not Rachel. Between you and me I’m not sure I like the perfume. I think it smells of toilet cleaner 🤷♀️ @rachelbrooks
Why do you have to chop them down Jane? 🤔 Mine are all still flowering @pelly

Sorry! 🤭 I thought I liked it at first but I think I was convincing myself as I liked the flowers 🙄 @rachelbrooks

Somehow I’d feel happier doing it in the spring when I know I won’t have killed them! 🤷♀️😂 @pelly
