Much too wet here to do anything.🙁🙁🙁

Yes the rubra is always much earlier than the blue spotty one - at least it is in my garden @rachelbrooks

Heavy rain here too James but decided that I’d just get wet 🙄 @fisherman

I’m sure I planted one last year...🤔 I’ll have to go on a hunt...

Just checked the RHS A-Z 😉😂😂 & P. Rubra “flowers from late winter”... as do most of the others 🙄😂😂 @rachelbrooks

I wonder if this is P. rubra ‘Redstart’: “has coral-red flowers, and is often the first pulmonaria to flower, in midwinter”. Sounds about right...

I know! It was a lovely surprise Claudia. Having said that, the rubra always flowers much earlier than the P. Officinalis @clipperty

I forget how nice they are in the spring, as they do look a bit tatty later in the year @gjones
