10 Dec 2019 • There is one heck of a storm going on outside but inside all is calm 🤍

Certainly is wild out there today and just got a little worse cause its school pick up time!!

It’s horrendous! Take care out there Carol. I’ve just chased my wheelie bin round the yard 🙄😂 @carolgs

I'm plucking up the courage to get out the van!! Silly really I've been in it all day getting wet, those wheelie bins have there own agenda I'm sure!! 😂 😂

You can do it Carol! You’d need a head-torch to garden here today. And possibly a boat 😉😂 @carolgs

I’ve got soaked twice now and just preparing my self to pop out a photograph my new helleborus 🤔🤪 @carolgs

There is no way I could take a photo outside today. Apart from anything else I’d need to use flash! @sharonhayden

I did it!! 😂 😂 I've only got a small inflatable boat big enough for a paddling pool if that's any use!! 😂

🙌 Well done that woman! Thanks for the offer 😂 May take you up on it as need to go to town later 🚣♀️ @carolgs

17 Mar 2019 • This has finally stopped flowering and needed a bit of a tidy up, so seemed a good time to try taking some cuttings 🤔 #propagation

24 Jan 19 • It’s snowy outside so here’s my azalea to bring some cheer. It has been flowering continuously for almost 3 months 😃😍✨ #white #azalea

That is amazing. It is so beautiful.

Perfick! 👌🏼

Thanks Annette. It’s beginning to look a little bit weary now but even so 😍 @Annettenoosa

Thank you Rachel 😘 @rachelbrooks

Thanks Gary. It’s a very photogenic flower (just swipe left. The latest of many 😂) 😊 @scaryskates

I’ve just been looking up the care of indoor ‘azaleas’. There seems to be some odd info in the encyclopaedia @teamgardentags #rhododendron-simsii (aka #azalea-simsii aka #azalea-indica) Simsii are not frost hardy at all. They are zone 10. I’ve never heard them referred to as Cundeamor. Perhaps that’s the variety 🤔 https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=953 Any chance the encyclopaedia entry can be corrected? @ukgardentags

Beautiful.....with pearls too...😀

But of course Elaine 😉😂 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

That is so beautiful Jacqueline 😍😍

Thanks Jane. I was just reading your comments from another time that I posted a photo of this. They are a different species to the miniature ones that survive outside as indoor azaleas aren’t frost hardy at all. I love it’s simplicity 😍 @pelly

I’ve created a new encyclopaedia entry as seemed easier... 🤓

8 Dec 18 • You often see flowering azalea for sale at this time of year but I’ve not seen any this year 🤔 This has been flowering since the beginning of November and still has buds waiting to open 😍 #azalea #houseplant

I actually saw them for the first time today. Gorgeous blooms! 😍😍😍

Were you tempted? 🤔🤔🤔 @ublaszko

I was very tempted but I got a tray of violas instead. I prefer to have some colour outside as I seem to blank out indoor plants 😂😂

Violas would be very tempting too 💜 @ublaszko

They are still in bloom around here too, Jacqueline. They are very pretty

Those are sooo beautiful. A friend of mine grows only Azalea’s. I can see why. 🎄⛄️

Very beautiful💕

That’s lovely Jacqueline. I bought one about a year ago from Lidl and it flowered in early winter. It’s just coming into flower again now although mine is an outdoor one. 💕💕

They are aren’t they. Though they do sit not doing much for about 10 months of the year... @terrimclaughlin

Thanks Kim 😍 @kimguy

I don’t actually know what the difference is to be honest Jane, other than size 🤔 I’ll try and find out 🧐🤓 @pelly

16 February 2018 • This just keeps on flowering 💚 Easy to grow too. Just needs to be kept damp but never sit it in water - I water it with my other #houseplants but also dunk it in a sinkful of water once a week or so 👍

Nearly isn’t good enough Jason! 😉😂😂 I gave one I had grown from a cutting to my S&B-in-laws for Christmas. Last seen drying up unwatered and unloved in their living room 😢 I should have given it to you 😊 @Jasonsparkes1

Thanks. It’s not often you get a flower that is entirely white 😊 @gjones

I do like this one 💚

Well Jacques is going to need company some day... @rachelbrooks

Thanks Johnny! 😊😊 @ukjohnny

That’s very beautiful 😍😍

Thanks Jane. I’m so pleased with it this year. It is by the front door and has been flowering its socks off since before Christmas 😍 @pelly

Baby steps Jacqueline...baby steps 😉😂

👍😂😂 @rachelbrooks

Sadly my nose, eyes & chest won’t let me have cats, so I have indoor plants 😉😂 @Jasonsparkes1

Little tinkers 😂😂😂 @Jasonsparkes1

17 January 2018 • Good morning from a cold and wintery Cumbria. Take care out there peeps ❄️❄️❄️

You too Jacqueline. Not a day for the bike 🚴♀️

True Nicola. Today is a walking day ❄️🤷♀️❄️ @jendren

Morning Jaqueline. That’s gorgeous, especially with the snow backdrop.

Thanks Denise, I love a bit of the white stuff ❄️😊☃️ @Denise16

Beautiful 😍

That’s beautiful Jacqueline 😍😍

Thank you ladies 😍 @juliesgarden @pelly

Ahhh beautiful but I’m only looking at the flower I refuse to acknowledge that white stuff in the background 🙈

That’s a very crisp white one, lovely 👌🏼

Haha! Thanks Vanessa. You can open your eyes now, it’s all gone 🙄😂 @nessas

Thanks Rich. It is rather lovely isn’t it 💚 @richard.spicer.7906

Another good thing about the approach of winter... For the rest of the year this sits quietly in the hall then suddenly this happens and it makes me very happy. 😊 #houseplant #indoor

So it's an indoor plant? #whiteazalea

This variety is, at least here in the UK. Perhaps not in sunnier climes... @brightcolours

A beauty 😍
It may have taken a while but my little azalea has flowered 💚 According to my GT entries, this was a cutting in March 2019. That seems like a lifetime ago… #azalea-cutting
Small but mighty!
Aww so pretty 🤍
The flowers are almost as big as the plant 😂 @brightcolours
Thanks Julie @juliesgarden
