6 Jul 2019 • So...a bit of my wall has fallen out so I thought I’d mend it...with some pieces of #houseleak and see if they’ll live up to their name 😉 or maybe they are just #houseleeks 🙈
🤣🤣🤣 well there must be a reason for their name! 😉👍🏼
I always thought they were called houseleaks because they could mend leaks... but apparently everyone spells it houseleek, though no idea what they have in common with a leek 🧐 To say I am disappointed is an understatement 🤷♀️🙄🤷♀️🙄🤷♀️ @rachelbrooks
I’m sure that’s exactly what the meaning is. We shall call them houseleaks and pooh pooh to those who don’t! 👍🏼😉
Maybe the RHS just doesn’t know how to spell leak 😉🧐🙄😂@rachelbrooks
That’ll be it! 👍🏼😉

One of the advantages of having lots of stone walls. Big disadvantage is they give hiding places for snails 😩 #sempervivum
Love your wall I built a drystone wall round my property in Ireland it's a real artform I watched the masters at work then got stuck in and it's still standing 20 years on 👏💕
Thank you. You're a better woman than me though! I just stood back and watched the master at work. It's a beautiful curved wall that then becomes a moon gate. 🌝 @dbligh
Looks like I’m going to get flowers on this for the first time 😊 #sempervivum
Are these on your tunnel? They look lovely.
Thanks, yes Susan, although it’s only an arch really 😊 @novicegardenlover
Thank you. That's the word I was looking for, in vain. 😁
😂 I know that feeling 🙄🤣 @novicegardenlover
How fabulous...
It’s sweet isn’t it 😊@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Thanks Stacey 😊 @seclarke
