My late night rescue mission worked! I lost one (now in a vase) but the other two are still upright and yes , they are tied to the door hinge 🙈😂 #tithonia #britishsummer

Jus spotted this little fella having a good old feed! #tithonia-torch #wildlifewednesday

Thank you. A photogenic flower with a friendly hoverfly 😊 @gjones

I only planted one seed and it’s enormous and keeps on flowering ….👌🏼

Oh wonderful. I have a few but only one is doing well 🤔 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Thank you Laura 🧡 @columbiariver

It’s been a long wait and it’s only small but…perfectly formed 🧡 #tithonia

Hopefully, now that it has started, it will flower now until mid October 🤞 @columbiariver

Snap l! It was you who made me try these and I put one plant in and it flowers for weeks….👌🏼

Pretty

Wow 🧡🧡

Mine are just getting going now

Well it was someone on here who inspired me to grow them too but I can’t remember who it was 🙈 I guess it wasn’t you Elaine 😂 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

They’re very pretty Charlotte but not edible I don’t think 🤔 @charlotte

😊 I think so too Julie! @juliesgarden

That makes me feel better Joan. This one is in a pot and doing great but I also put a couple in the garden and they’ve hardly grown. I think they must be quite hungry 🤔 @joanboston

I’ve got one five feet tall that’s only had one flower so far. Lots more buds coming though Jacqueline

That’s going to be amazing Joan. Is it in the ground? @joanboston

“Pop” 🧡 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

That colour 🌺🌺🌺

They are a true #colour-pop aren’t they Jane @pelly

They are. I’ve got seeds ready for next year 🧡

👍 @pelly

They’re like beacons of the flower bed....a must at this time of year..🔥🔥🔥😍

Gorgeous Orange 'pop' 🧡

There are some plants that I only know about because of #GardenTags and this is one 😊Apologies but I don’t know who first posted it but it is now one of the few #annuals that I grow every year #tithonia #orange 🧡💚🧡

I first saw Monty grow these on GW and this is my second year. They are certainly a stand out plant

Same here, I've got seeds for next year. I'm looking forward to growing them 😍

This is the second year I’ve grown them too Joan, but will grow them every year now I think. I love the orange ‘pop’ 😊 @joanboston

Did you buy the seeds Jane or have you let some flowers go to seed? @pelly

I bought seeds, they look so lovely 🧡

They really do Jane. I’m sure you’ll love them 😊 @pelly

2 Oct 2019 • It may have taken it’s time but boy is it worth the wait 🧡 This finally flowered for the first time a week ago though what it will make of last night’s frost I don’t know... ❄️❄️❄️

It’s worth waiting on it’s beautiful Jaqueline..fingers crossed you get to enjoy it for a little while longer 😍🧡

I hope so Michelle. I couldn’t believe it when I had to scrape the ice off my car this morning. It’s only 2nd October 🤔🙄 @mich

What a stunner...are they always this late...🧡🤔

What a stunner Jacqueline. I take it you've been reconnected to the outside world at last? 🌺🤔

I don’t know Elaine but probably not. I think I was late getting them going. Also the seed compost I used was rubbish and they didn’t really grow at all until I potted them on 🙄 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Thanks Jane. Sadly not, we do now have a telegraph pole apparently ... but still no phone line. I’ve been out using free Wi-Fi and 4G today but have to go home now 😢😉😂 @pelly

How very frustrating 😡😡

I wouldn’t mind trying these next year....on the seed list 👌🏼thanks Jacqueline

I’m back Jane! Finally got reconnected yesterday afternoon. It’s been so frustrating @pelly

I’d really recommend them Elaine, though are so bright and happy, though I wish I had sown them earlier. I first saw them on here but I can’t remember who posted them #tithonia @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Yay, at last!! You'll have some catching up to do now 👍👍
Turns out shoving several #tithonia plants into one big pot wasn’t such a bad idea after all 🧡❤️🧡
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Mine were a disaster this year but I suppose there’s always next year!!! 😂😂
Always Barbara! I’ve not spent much time in the garden this year so these were an emergency #just-get-them-in-some-soil and they don’t seem to have minded 😂 @jacaranda
The #hoverflies seem to be particularly partial! @columbiariver
Same here regarding the time (or lack of) spent in the garden this year, Jacqueline! It’s good to know that some things don’t always need to be mollycoddled 😂😂
Several things in my garden have never looked better 🙄 like the #hydrangea-limelight that I never got round to pruning 💚 Makes me wonder why I bother 😉😂 @jacaranda
