I love how #tulip-angelique gets more and more pink. It may have been a very cold and wet May but the tulips have loved it 💗
For me this was the original #blowsy double tulip...
I love how they go so well with the dark foliage plant behind 😍
It’s a good one isn’t it Eileen 😊 @emch
Thank you. Sometimes things you plan actually work 😉😂 @anges
@awomanonabike 👍
One of my favourites 🌸💗
It’s one of mine now too Julie 💕@juliesgarden
These are in my top 5......I’ll have to lift them this year they keep moving and they’re right under a rose bush...😟
It’s weird the way they do that isn’t it 🙄😂 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
Very....🤔 I certainly didn’t plant them there, unless the rose bush is moving..😆

28 Apr 2019 • I can completely understand why you love this #tulip so much @rachelbrooks and @pelly It may not be very tall but it’s perfectly formed 💕
What?? This is a Tulip?? I honestly thought it was a Rose. It's so very pretty 😊😊💕💕💛💛
Mind you the middle gives it away 😑It's a Tulip alright but I've never seen one as pretty as this that's for sure 💕💕
There are so many superlatives I could use for it but I’ll stick with beautiful. It’s definitely my favourite Tulip 🌷🌷
Gorgeous 😍
Absolutely gorgeous 😍😍😍
She’s such a pretty one. And I only have one this year so I’m enjoying her even more!
Isn’t it wonderful Pauline! I think it looks like a peony. It’s not unusual though. You often see them for sale in Morrison’s and I will certainly be getting more 💕 @midnightgardener
For completely understandable reasons Jane. Did yours come back? @pelly
Thanks Melanie 😊 @greenfinger14
Isn’t it fabulous Pam. I’ve never grown them before but definitely will be again 😊 @tiger123
I think I may have to add these to my pink and white border. Listen to me! I sound like a gardener 😉🤣 @rachelbrooks

22 Apr 2019 • I’m really looking forward to these opening. I’ve never noticed tulips doing this - lots of blooms on each stem 💕
Just read your comments from when I planted these Rachel & Jane. Do yours do this too? 🧐 @rachelbrooks @pelly
No! None of mine did that! You must have special ones! 🌷
As an aside, I used to know someone called Angelique, (crikey, 30+ years ago) and she had a habit of saying ‘really’ after just about everything...Whenever I hear the name, I immediately think ‘really’! And then you said really in the comment. Sorry! Rambling! Too much sun! 😘 xxx
We’ll see when they open. Maybe they’re not Angelique after all - won’t be the first time that’s happened 🙄 @rachelbrooks
Really? 😬 @clipperty
🤣🤣🤣 really Jacq?! @clipperty 🙊
You two 😂😂😂😂 @awomanonabike @rachelbrooks Isn’t it funny what sticks in your memory banks (and what doesn’t)!!! 😘😘😘
No, mine have always been singles Jacqueline 🤔🤔
Mmm, I wonder what’s going on 🧐 It’s not just one that has done this but most of them. Oh well, they should open soon 🌷 @pelly
I’ve just found a black parrot tulip doing the same. The stems are joined up to the leaves. I’ll post a pic 🤔🤔

26 Nov 18 • I couldn’t resist these. Not only should they look lovely but they are scented too 💕
Love these ones and they do actually look as beautiful in real life! I didn’t notice a scent...but we know my nose is rubbish! 🙄😂
These are beautiful, one of my favourites I think 🌸🌸
I’m looking forward to seeing them too. Are they good at coming back? @rachelbrooks @pelly
No idea lovely...I’ll tell you in April! 🤣 only planted mine last year!
😂😂 Fair enough! I hope they are 🤔🤞 @rachelbrooks
Me too! 😬
Mine were new last year too Jacqueline, so I’ve no idea either, I’m just hoping they come back @rachelbrooks 🌷🌷
Fingers crossed Jane! Mine were in the raised bed in the feint garden with two other varieties. I’m still deliberating whether to wait and see what comes back...or plant more just in case! 🤔 @pelly
I had some in the garden which I didn't lift, and some in a pot which I did and have put back in a pot now. I must admit to thinking the same as you, and we sell them at work, so I might get a pack as an insurance policy as I enjoyed them so much @rachelbrooks 🌷🌷
Seems like they are a definite winner even if they aren’t repeating 👍😊 @rachelbrooks @pelly
Oh definitely Jacqueline 😊😊
Another of my favourite tulips 🌷 🌷🌷 Though it could be mistaken for a peony 💗 #tulip-angelique
I love this one too🌸
