This has never done that well in the place I first planted it but it doesn’t matter, it is very happy in other places where it pops up 💜This one is in a pot with an acer and has made friends with some self-seeded primula too 😊 #viola-labradorica
This is a very pretty viola 💜💜
And the leaves are too, dark purple far right 💜🖤 @ublaszko
I noticed it has beautiful foliage. Looks much better than my plain violets 😁
You can have two types!! They are only teeny... @ublaszko
😉😉😁👍

6 Apr 2019 • I’ve only been away for a few days but the whole garden seems to have come alive including this little seedling that had found its way into a pot with an acer in it 💜 #viola-labradorica
This is the prettiest little thing BUT I now have it everywhere, literally!!😠💘😍
This looks so cute with viola and foxglove seedlings 😍😍😍
I don’t care! I love it. I particularly like it coming up in the cracks between the paving. I hope you do too Shelley... @ShelleySnyder
Doesn’t it just. Sadly I might have to pull those up. We’ll see 🤔 @ublaszko
To me they are a good sign spring is here I love them 💜💜
Me too Carol. Not that I’m ready for it yet. Never am 🤷♀️ @carolgs
It's kinda sneaked up on me this year although it seems later I've only just started getting busy again
I think I’ve been waiting for it to do what it did last year, so have been extra cautious and now am so behind... 🤷♀️ @carolgs
I'm sure you have plenty of foxgloves coming up all around your garden 😁 I found some in the cracks between paving stones underneath my garden bench 😁😁
I do Urszula. And I love them but sometimes they just have to go! @ublaszko
They are the sweetest little things 💜

22 March 2018 • This may not look like much but as I seem to have lost the parent plant, finding this little seedling at the edge of the pot that I have an acer in, has made my day 💜😊💜
not familiar with this one .will now have to watch out for on hikes
Oh do Terry! I’d love to see it growing wild. It is so pretty 💜 @moore.794
the map shows that it grows here. in pot or ground? when did it come up?
This is in a pot. The parent plant (which I can’t find) is in the ground. @moore.794
It definitely just landed there. I knew there was a self-seeded plant nearby (that my OH killed when clearing the path), so I’m sure this flew in or was left by a bird. That sounds like a wonderful project Laura 👍😊@columbiariver
Yay! Excellent 👍🏼
It’s great when this happens isn’t it 😃 @richard.spicer.7906
Last week I noticed how many violets there were in the hedgerows this year, then I spotted mine. There aren’t any where I originally planted them but they are popping up all over the place 💜 #viola-labradorica
Oh yes they get everywhere! You’ll never be without them, sick of digging them out 😂
Lovely!
#midwesternnative
I’m happy for them to do their thing Joan. They seem to particularly like the cobbles 😄 @joanboston
I think so too Janice 😊 @lovestogarden
