This is my first rose. How do I prune it? #advice

Take the dead heads off with the stalk to the leaf. Pruning depends on type of rose, the advice slip that came with the rose should tell you (hopefully), or the David Austin website may say. Good luck.

Thank you. Websites seem to differ. Some just say snap off under dead head, others to leaf. Will have to experiment!
