Help me identify this plant
The flowers open each day and are purple. The plant looks like a grass but I’m unsure. Looking forward to your comments.

Thank you Richard that’s very helpful. Having looked up that name you are correct. Such a beautiful plant just on its own.I might try and grow it from its seeds.
