One of my string of hearts in particular is blooming like CRAZY. Up to 3 flowers per node for darn near 3 continuous feet of plant. What's going on here?? Isn't this a fall bloomer..? It never stopped growing over the winter, either, even though its neighbors did. 🤷🏻♀️
From what I understand the string of hearts comes from South Africa and blooms according to what hemisphere it’s in. We are in the northern hemisphere so it’s the opposite
I’ve only done a little bit of research on string of hearts for my daughter @saguaro I don’t have them so not so much research. Let’s try @hannahchristine she can throw down som research
Cool, thanks for the info @hannahchristine ! I knew they were spring/summer growers, but I thought they bloomed in the fall before going dormant. I didn't realize it bloomed at any time during its growth cycle! Neat!

Glad to see the success! I would say it is early, but in your climate it might speed things along. 😁👍🌞

Mines blooming like crazy now too!
@aclayboy glad mine's not the only weird one! 😂 @docthrill I'm not worried about it or anything.. Just thought it was odd. 🤷🏻♀️
@beatnikcrab pretty its flowering process is normal it blooms in spring and summer in fall and winter is when plant will go dormant so less watering
