Found this growing among the spring weeds. It's tiny and cute rn, but if it's what I think it is then it's actually a central AZ native wildflower, and grows into a sprawling, wiry 8 ft wide beast with SUPER STICKY seeds, the name of which escapes me right now. Literally ACTUALLY sticky. They get EVERYWHERE, and they're especially a nightmare in my tiny fuzzy dog's fur! It DOES have tiny, pretty fuchsia flowers, tho! 😂

We have that growing rapid over here too. Pretty Sure it's deadnettle

@txgardener you're right! Henbit deadnettle. Not the thing with sticky seeds that I was thinking of (Boerhavia coccinea, I looked it up). I don't think I've seen this one before! I'll let it grow for a bit to see what it looks like. It's so weird how weeds decide to grow (or not). One year globe camomile absolutely TOOK OVER my yard (and I didn't mind, bc it's cute as hell), another year it was London rocket, another year purslane, another year black nightshade.. Never the same thing twice!
