Pretty against the purple! Mine has never flowered yet. Probably too shady out front. It’s under a tree but the purple color looks good out there. 🌞

@sunlovin ALL of my Opuntias are shy about flowering. I'm not sure why. Clearly I'm doing something wrong. 🤷🏻♀️

@emch I used to keep a set of tongs and a box in the back of my truck for exactly this kind of thing. 😂 Today I had to settle for an individually wrapped fast food napkin and a plastic bag that I had in my purse. I got it all in there just fine, but I guess the bag was flapping around in my truck bed on the way home, so when I picked it up again it flung a bunch of loose needles at me. 😬
