This plant had been looking pretty big and nice. I had been hesitating on snipping one janky branch bc I've had zero success with rooting cuttings of this in the past. To snip or not to snip was decided for me when a really strong wind knocked it off its high outdoor shelf, and it broke a bunch of branches on the way down. 😭 I had to remove 4 or 5 long branches, and took the opportunity to repot entirely. In a few days I'll stick all the cut branches back in the pot and hope for the best. 🤞😩
How lovely. My cutting that u gave me is just chillin. Hasn't done anything. Hasn't rotted either so I'm hoping with warmer weather it will stimulate some roots and new growth. 🤞
@txgardener I wish I could give you some advice on it! Everything online says that they're super easy to root by just sticking the cutting in some soil, and that in general they're adaptable to pretty much any kind of soil. 🤷🏻♀️ I've tried it before in a super gritty rooting mix with no luck, so this time I'm just going to stick them in the pot and hope it goes well.
