I killed both of mine too... they are very particular! Lowish light but a windowsill that gets about 4-6 hours would probably be best and water when soil is dry- probably once a week? But check the soil to make sure it isn't staying too moist. Drainage is definitely helpful or watering from the bottom always seem more successful!
