Hi @crabby58 umm to be honest mine has thrived so far with some neglect, A little seamungus fertiliser and water... I live in SE QLD so it gets the humidity it likes, I have it in a mix of half Coco peat mix, half regular potting mix, Perlite, orchid bark & Charcoal and I have it in dappled shade and apart from that I continue to check for pests but nothing else really most of my alocasias are in similar conditions so they can be neglected a little 😊 Hope my advice helps

Hi 😃 Belinda👋 thank you so much for the very helpful info 👍 much appreciated. I repotted mine when I brought her home with a African Violet and perlite mix and in the 2 wks she lost 3 leaves and grew one new one. I have her sitting on a pebble tray with water for humidity in a North facing window. How does that sound ? 😊 @belle1988

No problem at all @crabby58 😊 Glad to have been able to help. Sounds good to me the only thing I would monitor is the African violet mix as it may be a little acidic but if it grows well then leave it in there but if it starts to yellow or it drops more leaves than it grows then maybe try an aroid mix that is a little less acidic 😊 if you ever need any other advice please don't hesitate to ask 😊
