Definitely some variety of Iris. Difficult to identify until it flowers. Post a pic of flowers once they appear, and may be able to advise on variety 😀

Looks like the yellow Iris Pseudocorus. Particularly if it's in a damp area. But will see when it flower

Thanks @ashtonunderhillopengardens - the ground doesn't tend to dry out under the top soil so it could be Iris Pseudocorus 😊
