I don't have a clue what I'm doing, but I bought a house from someone who obviously loved the garden. Any advice / tips / help gratefully received :)

Thanks @hayleyaj & @Keely - I've popped it in a pot for now ". Didn't know if I needed to put it in water or get some root powder or anything........? 🤔

Repot it, they are so resilient ! Had mine for 5 years, one year I'd ripped it out and thrown out ready to take to skip. It still flowered and doubled in size even though it wasn't in the ground. Back in pride of place in garden again.

Thanks @Cazx - that's really good to know. Hopefully it will live as I love this plant. Thanks for the advice and reassurance 👍😊

I would put it in water and keep topping it up and see if eventually it forms a root 🤔 I managed to do this once with a surfinia I once broke ,good luck 💕

I always think that Dicentra is the most brazen of the early plants!
