So the new shoots on my rose are covered in aphids / greenfly 😕 what's the best way to get rid of them please? Thank you!

You can try a mixture of warm soapy water in a spray bottle. Spray it onto your roses it's supposed to get rid of greenfly.

@benjitzers washing up liquid, just a weak solution. Looks like the aphids are out in force. I noticed some on my clematis earlier today. Will be treating them to a wash tomorrow.
