Closed flower on #squash baby. That’s funny. This plant grows from seeds that have been thrown into the compost after making an excellent squash soup and there are much more small pumpkins than the plant on the bed without any care and watering. Doesn’t matter it grows on the compost fence 😉 #pumpkin #gyo
I always found my best pumpkins grew from the compost heap. 😊
Still learning ☺️ @Annettenoosa
I am also still learning 🦋

It grows well, a lot of nice leaves, lot of flowers, but only one is going into a real squash this year. I don't know what's wrong. #squash #cucurbita
It is due to less pollination. Pollen on squash needs to be transferred from the male flower to the female. Each flower is only fertile -- female -- or has viable pollen -- male -- for a few hours the first day it opens. It should pollinate via Wind, or bees or other pollinators must visit both during same time for squash to develop
Good point @gauravsh6 It's unfortunate because there were plenty of bees around.
This #squash enjoy its high position on the compost fence #pumpkin #gyo #update
