Small narrow garden behind a family house with an even smaller fish pond in a village in the middle of Europe. It's a great place to relax.

This #flower wants to say something, I think. "Well, ...I'll be a #delicious #courgette soon"

I think this helps a lot. I just would need to buy something better than this cheap chinese crap with no chance to setup properly 😖 @inuit

If it can help, I have a positive experience with a Solem control unit. It controls 3 passive solenoid valves (so a 9V battery lasting one year for the control unit is all that it takes), is placed underground and is managed via smartphone through Bluetooth to set irrigation time and duration for each valve. Unfortunately I have not a mark up on their sales 😉 @bensgarden

Thanks for the tip @inuit 👍 I'll look at it. I have the main problem now with dripping points. Everyone takes a different amount of water 😖

This year I'm trying drip irrigation. The courgettes are growing well as you see. But don't buy that one from Lidl as me! No chance to have same frequency on all drip points. #courgette #zucchini #yellowflower

@bensgarden What would you suggest for controlling slugs and snails please? I'm aware of pellets etc.. that can be bought in garden centres, but what do you recommend as being the most effective.

I personaly have no problem with the snails, but I hate slugs. I've heard many instructions how to fight with them. My wife protect her herbs by some blue granules (with Metaldehyd) and I must say, it works. I'm not a fan of chemicals in the garden in general. I don't like this way, but I'm usinng a man-to-man fight ;-) Its probably not so effective but my garden is relatively small. I have a good experience with salt and I also tried cut them by scissors. I'm sorry, it's disgusting, but works.
