Allium moly

Good morning GTers! I'd been trying to grow this variety of #allium for years with no success, then last year I must have done something right - no idea what it was though! Have a fabulous Friday everyone! 😀 #yellow #flashbackfriday

I grew these last year and was rather underwhelmed, I'm hoping for a better display this year 💛💛

@pelly - I saw a large group of them growing in a border and they looked really impressive so I tried to recreate it! Last year was the first time I've got any to flower! 😔

Mine are in a pot, maybe I should put them in the ground next to something that will compliment them 🤔🤔

@pelly - I've tried them in pots, raised beds and in the border! Wondered if they got too wet in previous years but last year it was relatively dry for the majority of the summer? 😀

Could be, last year was my first so I’m not a lot of help I’m afraid 🙄🙄

Maybe you planted white ones...well that’s what I did and I got yellow ones come up! 🙈
