@debs69 - Good morning Debra! They need plenty of heat to germinate and can be tricky to get going! I've never had so much trouble getting seeds to germinate as I have this year though! Enjoy your day too! 😀

@juliesgarden - Good morning Julie! I had to do two packets too as I only had one seed germinate from the first packet! There was only eight seeds in the packet though! Six from sixteen is still a very poor return though! Have a good one too! 😀

I haven't done any peppers but I've had a devil of a time getting seeds to germinate too.

@lesliecole49 - Yeah, it's been like that for me too! My new electric propagator has been a godsend for my most recent batch otherwise I'd be buying my plants from the GC this year! 😀

Finally got to do a bit of gardening this morning and decided to sow some seeds and pot up some bulbs, tubers and corms! This is how I'm trying my #chilli seeds this year! How do you like my #diy greenhouse? Should be perfect for windowsill germination! 😀

Oh, they will eventually be suitable for #rednoseday 😀

Morning Ian, how are your chilli seeds doing? @bigemrg 🤓 I planted mine a bit before you, nothing for days and then they started popping up. Looking a bit leggy 🤔 how soon do you need to pot them on? 😊

@debs69 - Hi Debra! None of them are through yet! I usually pot mine on when they get their second set of leaves! Just plant them a little bit deeper if they are too leggy! 😀

Thanks Ian @bigemrg will do that 👍 I am sure yours will appear soon, they do seem to take ages. I was getting a bit despondent, one variety I have wanted to grow for a couple of years Bishops Crown 👑

@debs69 - Yes I'm a bit impatient too! They usually appear within 10-14 days so I've got plenty of time before I start to worry! Not seen that variety before but I'm sure they'll be delicious! 😀
