Good morning GTers! I had lots of these lovely Glory of the Snow #bulbs come up last year, but only a handful have returned! Think the bulbs must have rotted in the wet ground we've had since last summer! Have a super Saturday everyone! #bulb #blue
Lovely colour 💙
So pretty 😍
Morning Ian, that’s glorious 💙😉👍
Liked the pic before I read it. So sorry for you I’m wondering were my blue bells went or if they are just late.
Morning Ian @bigemrg Gorgeous 💙 at least you have got a few left. Lovely pic Ian 👌😍

Must have planted about 100 of these Glory of the Snow bulbs last year, but only one has decided to show itself so far! Even this one is reluctant to open up fully!
I've previously had the same problem. Lovely little plant though!
Maybe it needs a good deep freeze and heavy snow cover? They actually multiply here in eastern Canada with no difficulty.
Great picture none the less.
@MelanieAt @mikethegardener @bigemrg actually freezing or putting them in the fridge might work, I have had seeds before that recommend this to aid germination, so you never know until you try 😆

This one is perfectly formed 🌺
Lovely
It was worth it for that one! Stunning !
@mikethegardener @MelanieAt @katgreen @brightcolours @titchyfra @juliesgarden @sara2309 @latebloomer Thanks all! Yes, maybe they need it to be a lot colder to spur them into life! We haven't even had a very hard frost here since I planted them!
I think plants are very confused, they don't know what season it! You may be surprised that next year more come up - that's what happened to me with snowdrop bulbs
@titchyfra - I think you may be right! I've had a nemesia that's been in bloom all through the winter!
Good morning GTers! It's great to see my small clump of Glory of the Snow returning for another year! This is just one of the images in my weekly photo #blog which you can see at the following link if you're interested - www.bigemrg.co.uk/blog/latest Have a great Thursday everyone! 😀 #blue
Morning ian .. love these little flowers 💙
@juliesgarden - Good morning Julie! Me too! Wish more of them would grow! 😀
Morning Ian, I'll have a look at your blog in a sec 😊 I like the look of Copper Image and Foxy Foxtrot 🌷🌷👍
@anges - Good morning Ange! Thanks, hope you enjoyed it! Both of those are new to me this year! Loving the Foxy Foxtrot variety! 😀
Yw, I love the name Foxy Foxtrot!! 🤣🦊🦊
@anges - Hehe! Me too! No idea why it's called that though! 🤔
Lovely photo 😊😊💙💙
@midnightgardener - Thanks Christine! 😀
