Epilobium hirsutum

Good evening everyone! Who doesn't love the lovely #purple flowers of the Great Willowherb? Are they a #weed or #wildflower to you? 😀

In my garden it entirely depends where they appear but plenty are allowed the remain. A really beautiful plant.

I'm really good at cultivating this little gem 😒 evening 🙈

Evening Ian, I'm with @tiggrx Aaron, depends on where they are, but I'm happy for them to stay 👌

They can stay untill they've finished flowering as soon as the seed comes there gone

@tiggrx - I'm similar Aaron, I don't like pulling them out really though as the bees and hoverflies seem to love them! 😀

@carolgs - I actually like the seeds as they're quite photogenic subjects, although I don't let all of the plants go to seed! 😀

I like the seed heads when they are fluffy will post a pic of a garden full of them @bigemrg

They are plants to me! I went out of my way to get some for my garden! Wildlife love them 😍
