Fritillaria imperialis 'Rubra Maxima'

Good morning GTers! I'm super excited! It's only just over a week since my Crown Imperial #fritillary broke ground, and now look! They're going to flower! Woohoo! Have a fantastic Friday my friends! 😀

Mines been flowering a couple of weeks now Ian , too short in my opinion 🙁

Good afternoon good folk of GT land! What a beautiful day it is, made even better with emergence of my Crown Imperial #fritillary bulbs! It's my first time growing them and I can't wait for them to flower! 😀

This is where I got my idea to get some Ian after seeing yours last year, they were lovely 😊

@jaynehynesburton - Hmm! They can't have been mine Jayne as it's the first time I've grown them! I saw them on Gardeners World last year and loved the look of them so they had to jump into my basket when I saw them at the local GC last autumn! 😀
